Job Family Summary
Enrollment Integration supports the implementation of Allstate Benefits products onto external technology benefits platforms. This area works very closely with the Technical Solutions Consultants and the project managers of the technology partner to coordinate the implementation of the Allstate Benefits products selected by the client. This area also works closely with the sales, implementation, new business and premium administration teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation and post enrollment issuance of Allstate Benefits policies. An additional activity includes the seamless transition to the Data Analyst for ongoing management of data processing of new hires and qualified life events and any required analytics to support it.


Job Summary
This role supports delivery of electronic premium sales while ensuring operational effectiveness throughout the enrollment acquisition lifecycle into ongoing inforce administration. Supports electronic sales solutions through the implementation of enrollment technology that enables Allstate Benefits voluntary products to be enrolled on external proprietary enrollment systems.


Works in partnership with the Technical Solution Consultants to partner with internal departments including National Accounts, New Business, Compliance, and Information Technology to facilitate the entire technical implementation process from product specifications, audits, research, EDI file testing, data analysis, data processing, workflow tracking and reporting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate product and related data specifications to platform vendor supporting the Employer and participate in implementation conference calls
  • Provide direction to and communication with EDI file developers on best practice integration with internal processing systems.
  • Perform system and data feed testing with Vendor, Employer Payroll and/or HR and complete data audits and pre-processing
  • Establish FTP accounts for secure EDI file transmission
  • Responsible for issue resolution for our customers with technical issues
  • Collaborates closely with internal business areas, field sales distribution, implementation, finance, compliance, underwriting, new business, customer service and IT, to effectively recognize and solve case level enrollment strategy issues.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to field sales distribution, brokers and technology partners regarding data strategies to support Allstate Benefits products

Job Qualifications

  • Communication skills commensurate for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Project management skills – 1 to 3 years experience managing multiple projects
  • Knowledge and understanding of the voluntary benefit enrollment process
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Excel in order to manage data in the enrollment process
  • Bachelors preferred in the Computer Science or business related fields or related experience
  • Advance skills in data testing, auditing, analysis and reporting
  • Ability to manage concurrent conflicting priorities
  • Schedule flexibility to work extended hours during peak volumes
