Job Description

The Internet Marketing Technology (IMT) department partners with Marketing/eBusiness and other departments to deliver innovative technology solutions focused on marketing programs and marketing tools. Additionally, IMT provides consulting expertise to guide overall prioritization and drive scheduling of marketing technology initiatives and maintains the overall project portfolio and content elements for Allstate.com applications, the only consumer facing applications at Allstate.

As a Web Application Developer in the Web Development Team you will be helping us develop re-usable components that will be used by our Marketing Partners.  We are looking for someone with strong Front End development skills. 

Job Accountabilities

  • Utilize designs to develop accurate, defect-free code 
  • Create and update technical documentations using high level technical specification documents 
  • Create unit test plans and conduct unit testing accordingly 
  • Participate in code reviews, and test plan reviews 
  • Work with Product Owner or BA to ensure appropriate conditions are identified, provide technical expertise on execution of applications, and support QC processes 
  • Be able to coordinate and work with offshore resources for application development 
  • Understanding integration of applications with internal and external systems
  • Other responsibilities include enhancement, performance tuning and support of existing applications
