Does the prospect of acting as an ambassador for a large Fortune organization that will have a direct impact to attracting top notch talent and future leaders of an organization “fire you up”? As part of our diverse and dynamic Talent Acquisition team, you will spearhead the development and direction of our recruitment and university relations in support of Allstate's new graduate program and intern opportunities across the enterprise. You will ensure that consistent, high quality recruiting and marketing practices are developed and implemented which positively impact Allstate’s competitive position in the marketplace. 

You will be an active participant in Allstate’s college recruitment programs and activities. You will foster relationships/affiliations with students and university representatives as well as partnership organizations (HACE, NSHMBA, SHPE, NSBE etc.)  

 

Primary Responsibilities 
 

  • Identify, assess and lead various campus recruiting initiatives including participation in career fairs and facilitation of relationships with campus career centers to build pipeline for potential hires 
  • Manage a network of potential candidates and school contacts in anticipation of future job openings and demand 
  • Develop innovative marketing/branding opportunities geared towards student by collaborating with Allstate’s marketing team and Talent Acquisition’s branding consultant, as well as leverage and implement social media marketing tactics to message to this audience 
  • Provide subject matter expertise for college recruitment best practices, maintaining quality benchmarks, processes and standards as well as reporting mechanisms that track the effectiveness of the campus program 
  • Design and deliver the program strategy and outreach efforts while working with Universities and students 
  • Partner with Allstate’s leaders, HR business partners, recruiters, etc. to promote and develop talent forecasts
  • Provide guidance, develop and execute various programs and events aimed at promoting the Allstate’s brand and developing a targeted candidate pipeline of new graduates and interns 
    Facilitate and execute college recruiting sourcing strategies with Allstate's recruiting teams and internal departments including providing consultation and tools for the most relevant outreach efforts 
  • Develop program budget for review and approval, as well as track and report on budget as necessary 
  • Coordinate with senior recruiters to execute campus/student sourcing strategies and recruitment activities

Job Qualifications


• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 3+ years of recruitment experience with a proven track record developing and executing new college recruiting programs  
• Experience in college sourcing and recruiting, outreach program development or HR with people management skills, mentoring and influencing various recruiting parties; 
• Knowledge of social media tools and the ability to leverage for branding purposes; 
• High level of written and verbal communication skills, excellent problem-solving capabilities and superior analytical skills; 
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of the organization and to deal effectively with external clients; 
• Ability to create and lead change 
• Knowledge of innovative marketing approaches to maximize an employer’s campus presence and reputation 
• Ability to engage key stakeholders and influencers, including gaining support for changes and new initiatives
