Job Description

The Loan Servicing Analyst is responsible for the general loan administration, asset management and servicing of the commercial mortgage portfolio through regular communication with external Servicers and internal Production, Legal and Accounting staff and in accordance with Allstate’s loan servicing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviews and recommends approval for Borrower requests including commercial leases, SNDAs, escrow disbursements, loan assumptions, partial releases, and substitution of collateral, etc.
  • Collaborates with Servicers, Production and Legal staff to timely complete all approvals and resolves any loan related matters.
  • Develops strong relationships with Servicers, Legal, Production and Accounting teams.
  • Reviews and approves pre-closing insurance and annual renewals.
  • Reviews pre-closing loan documentation to ensure accuracy
  • Prepares yield maintenance and other payoff calculations and approves final payoff statements.
  • Monitors collection of rent rolls, property operating statements, borrower financials and post-closing items.
  • Collects and reviews property inspections and monitors deferred maintenance issues to resolution.
  • Reviews and approves releases for paid off loans.
  • Monitors Servicer annual compliance.
  • Reviews and updates Loan Servicing Procedures annually.
  • Participates in servicing related projects.
  • Minimal travel to special events or industry related conferences.

Job Qualifications


Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate, preferably Loan Servicing or related experience


Skills Required

  • Basic understanding of commercial lending, real estate, servicing, financial and legal concepts
  • Basic understanding of commercial property operating statements
  • Basic understanding of property insurance and casualty losses; Payoff letters and releases
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Customer service oriented; responsive to requests from internal and external customers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think independently and make appropriate decisions; initiate and performed assigned tasks
  • Strong ability to effectively organize and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Works well in a team environment and has flexibility to adapt to changes and process improvements
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Products; experience with a commercial mortgage servicing system




Education/Training Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, real estate or pre-law
