Job Description

The Strategic Distribution Senior Consultant is responsible for assisting leadership in preparing field leaders with tools and processes to support the implementation of the ongoing implementation of Needs Analysis/5R implementation. This position will demonstrate an advance ability to develop partnering relationships with field leaders, identify and respond to adoption and change management needs, design and create support tools and processes, & perform in a project management function.

 

Responsibilities may include a combination of the following based on team need:

 

Field Partnership

•     Understand and align to field leader’s need for tools, processes, education and support

•     Gathers recommendations to solve market specific implications of business strategies

•     Researches, develops and monitors “best practices” information pertinent to Strategic Design leadership & agency revenue generation to share and implement with field partners

•     Provide business solutions and guidance on medium complexity projects, programs, and processes 

 

Field Adoption & Change Management

•     Assists with creating education and coaching tools to enhance 5R/Relationship Platform adoption

•     Supports leadership to develop 5R/Relationship Platform adoption measures and enhancements 

•     Supports leadership to work on communication strategies and materials to support 5R process and supporting technology

•     Gathers input from key stakeholders and assesses current and future needs

•     Supports procedures necessary to identify change management needs

 

Project Management

•     Consistently plans, implements, and assists in managing projects that are medium scale key initiatives using accepted project management standards

•     Contributes to project milestones

•     Tracks plan performance

•     Assists with developing cost/ benefit analysis with support

•     Assists with communications and presentation of project information

•     Works with resources/expertise that are necessary to successfully complete projects/ assignments from various AORs

•     Supports strong relationships among teams and team members to ensure cooperation on project objectives

•     Contributes to alternatives for improvement as appropriate

 

Program Management Support

•     Supports contributions towards market share growth and profitability by managing projects and contributing towards Strategic Design programs and providing expertise in respective discipline (s)

•     Supports planning and coordinating the integration and delivery of planned changes/projects/ programs to regions/field

•     Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • College degree required
  • 2+ years of business experience (field experience/working knowledge of MOCs, is a plus)
  • Proficiency with MS Office  
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong background in training and /or insurance
  • Strong interpersonal, quickly developing relationships and inspiring trust
  • Anticipates and drives changes to work processes, to support changing business tactics
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams
  • Continually seeks opportunities for learning and development
  • Possesses intermediate working knowledge of sales processes, products, features and benefits
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, presentation and consulting skills
