Job Summary

The Business Process Consultant Analyst II is responsible for supporting the administration of life reinsurance through the review and processing of policy level transactions in the TAI Life Reinsurance System and developing and executing project and test plans.  Acts as a resource for team members which may include assisting in resolving complex problems and/or identifying process improvements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Complete routine reinsurance administration duties such as processing and maintaining records
  • Complete projects with limited supervision
  • Develop and execute test plans for TAI system updates and changes
  • Assist with reinsurance treaty reviews
  • Actively participate in staff and project meetings
  • Support review of reported information with internal and external customers to ensure accuracy
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries
  • Research and resolve moderately complex cases
  • Support internal and external audits

Job Qualifications



  • TAI processing experience helpful
  • Familiarity with life insurance concepts
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to support multiple concurrent tasks/projects
  • Process and testing documentation experience helpful
  • Experience researching issues and conducting data reviews to identify trends
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Familiarity with SQL query
  • Knowledge of Cyberlife administration system helpful
  • Able to take direction and work independently
  • Intermediate Office 2016 application skills, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Detail oriented with a strong sense of accountability
  • Ability to work effectively in a team            
  • College Degree or equivalent work experience
