Job Description

To provide Software Configuration Management and associated services for Alliance system including merges, rebases, support for various SCM tools, modernization of the SCM tool suite as well as to provide dashboards and reports to the development community and Alliance leadership.

Additionally, analyze and assess the existing state of the process and recommend improvements and opportunities for automation.

Job Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience with following:
- SCM processes and procedures
- Rational Tools administration – Clearcase and Clearquest
- Experience with Git/Github
- Linux and Windows platform experience (design, build, maintain)
- Some knowledge of WebSphere Application Server (preferred)
- Jenkins experience a strong plus
- Some understanding and experience with solution development tools such as Java (J2EE containers, JMS, Junit, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with both technical and business contacts, including ability to translate between these groups
- Strong written communication skills, with ability to write clear, concise technical documents
- Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to suggest technical solutions to problems
- Strong logical and analytical approach, with ability to analyze and interpret large amounts of detailed application and infrastructure performance data
- Self-motivated with ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to learn new skills quickly and willingness to challenge yourself
