You will:

  • In collaboration with key Sourcing & Procurement Solutions partners, support the screening of suppliers for ethical and sustainable practices in the supply chain while helping them adopt ethical and sustainable behaviors.
  • Identify, gather, and analyze/research complex data sets utilizing a variety of tools (a combination of agreements, surveys, scorecards, etc.) in order to enhance the reporting process and provide clear actionable insight to the Supplier Diversity & Sustainability team leader.
  • Support the design, build, and implementation of key performance indicators and targets to more effectively monitor the influence of our sourcing efforts and drive greater understanding of how suppliers are managing topics such as environmental & social impacts, emissions, waste, regulatory compliance and cybersecurity.
  • Support the development and communication of Sustainable Procurement strategy focused on increasing influence throughout the Allstate Insurance Company.
  • Provide logistical support to the team focused on enhancing Allstate’s reputation in diverse communities through engagement in conferences, summits and other industry events as well as contribution to the annual Sustainability Report.
  • Must demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances

Job Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision
  • Professional demeanor, focused, articulate and well organized
  • Proven knowledge of project management techniques and tools
  • Strong ability to market and sell new ideas and to influence others
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work with executive leaders to develop business cases that address key issues and trends
  • Proven ability to incorporate qualitative and quantitative analyses into presentations and documents for different audience
  • Familiarity with CDP Supply Chain reporting - Preferred
  • Pursuing a degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain logistics or finance
  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior
