Job Description

Allstate Insurance Company has an exceptional career opportunity for a Claims Service Specialist in Malvern, PA!

Our customers need us the most when they are involved in an accident.  As an Claims Service Specialst Associate III you will play a vital role in ensuring that we deliver on our promise to help restore people's lives after they have experienced a loss. You will be responsible for investigating accidents to determine liability. You will also communicate directly with customers, guiding them through the claims process and updating them on the status of their claims in a caring and professional manner. You will be documenting all claim activity, and following processes that provide fair settlements or claim resolutions, excellent customer satisfaction and excellent cost management.  You will be challenged to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Specific responsibilities include:

 

  • Investigating, evaluating, and negotiating claims, in order to reach a fair and equitable settlement.
  • Using compassionate communication and persuasive negotiation to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Working well with others in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Achieving targeted performance goals to manage costs and support Allstate's industry-leading operational standards.
  • Rotating weekend hours may be required.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with previous experience in either customer service and/or a professional work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a passion for helping others.
  • Strong organizational and computer skills.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently in a fast paced environment.
  • Persistence and the ability to work through and solve problems.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
