Job Description

The Allstate Life Insurance Sales Education team contributes to the growth and overall success of Allstate by developing and delivering quality education for agency owners, agency staff, financial specialists and virtual wholesaling team members, empowering them to deliver compelling solutions and protection to Allstate customers.  

 

The ALR Distribution Lead Consultant supports and/or leads the development/design, review, approval and facilitation of ALR educational programs.  This role ensures effective development and delivery of course materials through a variety of mediums such as instructor led training, web conferences, video and e-learning options. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Develops ALR content for LSP, EA, and EFS education, including life products, sales processes and technology
  • Designs programs for onboarding education and continuous development
  • Creates educational content to support seasonal campaigns and other sales-related training sessions delivered through Virtual Wholesaling platforms
  • Manages ALR content available on various learning management systems
  • Facilitates new EFS education through ALR-University
  • Works on cross-functional projects to launch new products and technology
  • Delivers content at LSP forums, Regional Kickoffs, EFS Symposiums or other meetings as requested
  • Supports training/onboarding of new Virtual Wholesaling team members
  • Tracks and measures the impact of training programs
  • Ensures adherence to internal and external compliance requirements and standards

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in adult learning, financial services and/or life insurance
  • General understanding and knowledge of learning design, instructional methods and training techniques
  • Strong relationship management and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • College degree or related experience, financial designations a plus
  • Life and health insurance license, FINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63 required, or to be obtained within a 90-day window for each exam
  • Intermittent travel as necessary
