Job Summary

The Associate Manager leads team members, manages time and cost estimates, assigns people to work, collects feedback, reviews and evaluates work and prepares performance evaluations.  The Associate Managers lead work of critical importance, implement strategic change, and impact results and operational effectiveness.  Additionally, they confer with and advise direct reports on administrative policies and procedures, risks, issues, problem resolution, sourcing decisions, budget and priorities.   They provide critical input to higher level management on function’s operating model, policies, procedures, and tools to produce the expected quality result at the appropriate unit cost

Key Responsibilities

The Unified Customer View – Technology Solutions (UCV-TS) Associate Manager main responsibility to manage resources and work to support the environment infrastructure, platforms, applications, configurations and changes through in the testing and production environments.  This position will play a critical role to lead the team towards Availability, Automation and Security goals in multiple layers of technologies.  The primary supported platforms and operating systems are TIBCO, IBM WebSphere, Layer 7, Linux, Windows server.

• Executes HR-related processes and develops staff through coaching and mentoring and providing specific, timely, open, honest, and constructive performance feedback.

• Leads employees through change by using one’s self as an example.


Job Qualifications



• 2-3 years management experience in IT in a collaborative team environment 

• 3-5 years of experience with environment management, strategies, and planning

• Direct leadership experience covering hiring, staffing, coaching and performance reviews

• Prior experience driving organizational change and implementing processes and methodologies that guide team actions

• Relationship management experience with both IT and Business leaders

• Analytic and problem-solving experience

• Strong communication skill
