The Operational Excellence (OE) team equips Arity with the knowledge and tools needed to be strategically and operationally efficient, financially smart, and legally and ethically compliant.  The OE team partners with teams throughout Arity and Allstate shared services to ensure compliance requirements are achieved and operational risks are effectively implemented and managed.  Operational Excellence is responsible for governance across the Arity organization. 

Job Summary
The Arity Governance - Consultant I is responsible for supporting projects, processes and documentation for the Operational Excellence program.  The position is for a self-motivator that can collaborate with groups across Arity, take in robust information from across the organization, and create material in an understandable, concise format. This individual will assist in creating documentation that supports Operational Excellence objectives and help execute on initiatives, with guidance. The Consultant will achieve their business goals by being detail-oriented, collaborative, and an excellent communicator. 

Job Description

The Arity Governance - Consultant I is responsible for supporting projects, processes and documentation for the Operational Excellence program.  The position is for a self-motivator that can collaborate with groups across Arity, take in robust information from across the organization, and create material in an understandable, concise format. This individual will assist in creating documentation that supports Operational Excellence objectives and help execute on initiatives, with guidance. The Consultant will achieve their business goals by being detail-oriented, collaborative, and an excellent communicator. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates understanding of Arity’s processes and the compliance/regulatory requirements
  • Captures current-state information and documents processes
  • Identifies what additional information is needed through research, questioning and data gathering with stakeholders. Utilize information gathered to assist in the support or enhancement of the Operational Excellence program
  • Applies functional professional knowledge, in relevant areas: professional and regulatory standards and technical concepts; team standards and business goals, to achieve goals of stakeholders and project requirements
  • As directed, supports the development/design of new Operational Excellence projects, programs & processes

 

Job Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Experience in consulting, project management or related industry preferred
