User Experience and Design Team
The User Experience (UX) organization is a multi-disciplinary services organization that designs interactions and experiences with devices, systems, and services that provide a positive, engaging, and productive experience. The organization serves varying user experience and design needs across the company, and is comprised of UX Architects, Interactive Content Writers, User Research and Usability Analysts, Creative Technologists and Interactive Visual Designers that work together to design delightful experiences.

Creative Technology/UI Engineering Team
The Creative Technology team is paving the way for a next-generation hybrid role within the enterprise that operates at the intersection of design and technology. Ideal candidates will apply their knowledge of front-end technologies in support of business needs and objectives. We partner closely with UX designers, developers and product owners to prove out new concepts, test innovative solutions and deliver shipping codebase. Successful candidates thrive by exploring new trends, creating concept prototypes and streamlining ideas to production codebase.


  • Imagine, test and develop exciting game-changing ideas that push the boundaries of user interfaces and technology trends
  • Ability to research future technology trends, develop proof of concepts and integrate them into production
  • Create production-ready HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code that is standards compliant and enhances usability/performance
  • Strong experience developing component-based UI architecture, integration, and delivery is preferred
  • Enable the implementation of aesthetically pleasing designs through knowledge of front end code (including knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, iconography and web fonts).
  • Create re-useable code and templates in support of digital style guides/brand standards, prototypes and web components based UI delivery using Angular v2.0+, ReactJS etc.
  • Adhere to and participate in the creation of standards for code quality, accessibility, and system performance
  • Guide delivery teams on UI code best practices
  • Research and share industry standards related to but not limited to: web-development, user-experience, design, awareness of new coding frameworks (e.g. Angular.js, React.js, React Native, Native Script etc.), chatbots and voice interfaces.
  • Strong working knowledge using RESTful Web APIs and ability to integrate them into multiple development environments
  • Establish and adhere to process and engagement models for interacting with delivery partners (technology and business teams) as well as User Experience and Design Team members (using Github)
  • Manage your work. Meet established project timelines and estimates; effectively communicate deviations, risks or issues that hinder progress, and working in a large team environment
  • Possess the necessary technical and leadership skills to be able to share ideas and guide others team members in managing projects.
  • Instill “best-practice” methods

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 3-6 years of UI Development experience in delivering enterprise web-based solutions
  • Advanced working experience following best practices in an enterprise development environment
    • Proficient working with JavaScript frameworks including ReactJS, React-Native, AngularJS (v2.0+) and Ionic to create rich interactive user interfaces
    • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Experience in AJAX techniques
    • RESTful web API knowledge
    • TDD (Test Driven Development) and its methodologies
    • Componentization of presentation layers
    • Familiarity using popular task runners and bundlers (Webpack, Gulp, Grunt, etc…)
    • Proficient using mobile-first responsive development
    • Experience coding websites that adhere to Web Accessibility standards and are compatible across major browser versions
  • Strong knowledge of Github and ability to create a process for sharing and consuming multiple teams requests
  • Proficient with a CSS preprocessor such as SASS or LESS
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for accurate implementation of visual designs
  • Ability to solve problems and adapt when issues arise
  • Ability to collaborate on efforts and apply good communication skills
  • Experience working in an agile development environment e.g. scrum, eXtreme Programming (XP)
