Job Description

The Ivantage PMO team manages all project work across internal business units including Operations, Carrier Relations, Regional Integration, Technology Integration, Data Analytics, Compensation Strategy, Marketing and Communications, Risk Management, and Agent Training and Education.  This includes pursuit and/or project delivery including scope, timelines, resources, budget, risks and issues, relationships, and communication.  The Ivantage PMO team is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, and meet or exceed quality expectations.   

The PMO Sr Consultant provides project management coordination, support, and assistance in all aspects of project analysis and management. This includes assisting with communications, following-up on issues and actions, and tracking multiple project components such as budget, work plan, and risks/issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Plans, implements, manages and/or contributes to low complexity projects with limited supervision, typically within a team, and assists where appropriate with efforts of higher complexity.
  • Forecasts short and long-term project deliverables with assistance.
  • Tracks and documents plan performance, task completion, and resource utilization.
  • Collects and analyzes project metrics.
  • Conducts research and analysis related to understanding and documenting key issues and risks.
  • Documents, tracks, and escalates issues, risks, and change requests, as appropriate.
  • For projects of low complexity, and with limited supervision, creates and delivers desired/required communications and reviews them with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Develops positive relationships and shares information with project members and other internal business partners.
  • Develops and leverages appropriate technical, functional, or business knowledge to support the successful development of internal business partner solutions.
  • Sets goals and objectives for a low complexity work effort with project team members.
  • Provides feedback on project team member(s) when requested
  • Assists in the formulation of strategies to achieve plan objectives

Customer Experience

  • Participates in the development of Ivantage current state fact base using assessments, benchmarking, and research.
  • Understands the diverse expanded market customer base and the specific needs of multiple customer types (agents and consumers in the brokerage, direct, and house account markets).
  • Participates in the development and execution of a fact-based portfolio of actions targeting expanded market agent and consumer satisfaction and retention. 
  • Assists in the development and communication of expanded markets agent and customer experience best practices for the department.
  • Influences measureable improvements over current state.

Job Qualifications

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft product suite (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to create a detailed project plan identifying key days, activities, and resources
  • Strong understanding of current Project Management standards to impact decisions and indicate requirements
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to be involved in multiple projects at the same time
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Questions current process in a professional manner in an effort to improve efficiencies, workflow, and user experience
  • College degree preferred
  • Three years of experience in a related field
