Job Description

Allstate is seeking a recruitment professional to join our Talent Acquisition team, and support the client relationships and recruitment strategies for our Finance and Investment organization. Talent Acquisition has a direct working relationship with our business units and provide consulting services related to sourcing, recruiting and evaluating top talent to meet enterprise hiring objectives. This is an opportunity for an individual with strong consulting and influencing capabilities.

In this role, you will be aligned to the support the Finance and Investment client group and partner with leaders on recruitment needs across various levels of their organizations.  You will develop, plan and execute passive and active sourcing strategies determining appropriate places to post opportunities such as job boards, social media, search firms, LinkedIn, networking, niche sites or associations, etc. You will actively participate in passive and active sourcing activities as well as reviewing candidate resumes and profiles; conducting interviews; making assessments and recommending talent; negotiating and presenting offers; providing status communications and notifications to candidates; maintaining candidate workflow and notes via the applicant tracking system (ATS); etc.

As a full life cycle recruiter at Allstate, you will be aligned to Finance and Investment Hiring focusing on entry level to Director-level roles . You will also provide best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve process and services, while solving problems with the client as it pertains to searches. You will be part of a talent acquisition team of recruiting professionals dedicated to the highest standards of service excellence.

 

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; PHR/SPHR preferred
  • 4+ years of recruiting experience, finance and/or Investments recruiting experience is highly preferred
  • Ability to manage a high req volume; 25-30+
  • Knowledge of business, HR and industry best practices
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills including the ability to offer out of the box and creative solutions to recruiting challenges
  • Accountable and independent, as well as collaborative, fostering a cohesive team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills to effectively communicate in a variety of settings across all organizational levels
  • Proven organizational and time management in order to work independently on a variety of concurrent projects in a time sensitive environment
  • Act as a subject matter expert.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of business software, including Excel
  • Advanced time management skills including ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and organize
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Proficient with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
