Job Description

 The Employee Recruiting Talent Acquisition team develops, directs, plans, and evaluates the external recruitment and/or internal transfer programs to satisfy the organization's staffing requirements. The Employee Recruiting Talent Acquisition team has a direct working relationship across all business areas and provides consulting services related to sourcing, researching, marketing, recruiting, screening candidates, interview management and recommendations to meet business area hiring goals. Talent Acquisition interprets internal or external business needs and recommends best practices.  The Talent Acquisition Employee Recruiting Team partners with HR Business Partners and business areas to develop and implement hiring goals and strategies.

 

The Employee Hiring Senior Sourcing Consultant is responsible for developing, executing, and completing complex sourcing assignments.  The role will be instrumental in working with recruiters to develop sourcing strategies for requisitions and for future external successor pipelining of talent. The Senior Consultant will proactively gather, synthesize, and consult on information and data associated with search assignments and talent market opportunities.  This role requires the capability to independently execute sourcing strategies for multiple executive positions and develop output that demonstrates a mastery of research/sourcing for higher level searches. 

 

The Consultant will also serve as a team subject matter expert in designing and implementing strategies to build sustainable active and passive talent pipelines. The accountabilities includes industry research, competitive intelligence, internet forums, LinkedIn campaigns, interactive social media, cold calling and building networks to ensure that there’s a healthy pipeline of qualified candidates. The accountabilities may also include database mining, internet searches, resume searching, and prescreening targeted potential candidates. The Sourcer works with the executive recruiting team and partner on the development of the sourcing strategy.

Job Description

Talent Profile Research

  • Identify, implement and teach methods for the delivery of information to recruiting teams including setting up of news alerts, feeds, etc.
  • Analyze and synthesize market, industry and talent data to drive business decisions
  • Understand the talent profile to develop name generation by researching the specific industry or specialty skills and leadership capabilities
  • Develop profile and company research

 

Sourcing & Pipeline Optimization

  • Accurate input, organize and maintain the integrity of candidate management database
  • Develop search strategy, including construction of company target lists, researching of candidate profiles and matching necessary competencies to executive experience, utilizing internal/external resources and proprietary databases
  • Expert on job board functionality and searching optimization
  • Develop strategic Boolean search strings to support recruiting through various databases
  • Design and implement TA strategies to build sustainable active and passive talent pipelines leveraging in-house resources and recruiting tools.
  • Customize sourcing search strategies based on complexity and level of search
  • Align with specific functional areas, such as technology or marketing, and develop subject matter expertise
  • Share best practices and educate recruiters and research team on additional sourcing resources to build a passive candidate network
  • Ensure company complies with laws and regulations as it relates to online sourcing, staffing, and hiring practices
  • Build networks for candidates (active pipeline)
  • Develop candidate list and maintain in tracking system for pipeline
  • Provide input on sourcing strategies (what is working and not working)
  • Develop market intelligence (through sourcing outlets, organizations and networking)
  • Upload and maintain candidate data in the CRM

 

Client Specific Business Acumen

  • Understand job requirements - strong knowledge of skills and abilities (competencies) required for different positions
  • Deep understanding of market and competitor intelligence

 

Client Relationship Management

  • Respond to recruiter, candidate and/or hiring manager in a timely manner
  • Ensure candidate has a positive recruiting experience
  • Ability to anticipate business needs and adjust sourcing strategies on a regular basis
  • Deep understanding of sourcing best practices
  • Sourcer will accompany recruiters in kick-off meetings and/or hiring leader intake sessions to understand the requirements of the executive search

 

Metrics/Reporting

  • Track all e-recruiting programs to optimize investment
  • Request and/or view reports to monitor and evaluate sourcing techniques to determine sourcing effectiveness based on quantitative data, cost efficiency, and customer feedback

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience; executive search experience preferred
  • Previous background in search experience in a high volume corporate environment preferred
  • Act as a resource and coach for less experienced team members
  • Time management skills including ability to handle high volume requisitions
  • Organization skills and ability to manage multiple client groups
  • Client relationship skills with the ability to communicate proactively and consistently with clients at all levels across the enterprise
  • Professional with strong communication skills with the ability to partner with recruiting teams
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of business software, including Excel
