Job Description

Talent Acquisition develops, directs, plans, and evaluates the external recruitment and/or internal transfer programs to satisfy the organization's staffing requirements. The Talent Acquisition team has a direct working relationship across all business areas and provides consulting services related to sourcing, researching, marketing, recruiting, screening candidates, interview management and recommendations to meet business area hiring goals. Talent Acquisition interprets internal or external business needs and recommends best practices.

 

Within Talent Acquisition, Strategic Services (SS) is responsible for providing sourcing optimization consulting services and recommending best practices. SS develops, maintains, and supports strategies, programs and tools related to sourcing strategies, knowledge management, and employment branding. SS ensures that Talent Acquisition strategies, programs and tools provide a pipeline of quality talent through data-driven sourcing and effective employment branding opportunities.

You will have the important job of leading recruitment marketing & employer brand efforts, supporting Allstate’s technology organization (ATSV). You will be helping our technology recruiting/sourcing team and hiring managers tell our story to attract talented and sought after agile coaches, AI automation managers, cyber security professionals, data analysts, developers, engineers, mobile architects, project managers, product managers, and scrum masters.

 

The Employment Branding Associate Manager will assist the Employment Branding & Recruitment Marketing team with managing Allstate’s internal and external employment brand specific to our technology organization (ATSV), including the following key responsibilities:

 

  • Partners with technology recruiting and sourcing leads to create larger talent attraction strategies
  • Partners with manager in media planning for the technology organization
  • Leads medium-large technology employer branding projects
  • Leads recruitment marketing agency and internal resources in creative (print, digital, social, video) planning, production and review.
  • Reviews and edits social media and long form (blog, presentations) content
  • Owns technology talent campaign performance & technology brand reputation reporting
  • Owns consulting process, consulting with Recruiters, Sourcers and other HR professionals in technology brand/recruitment marketing consulting requests, planning and execution
  • Owns the Allstate’s technology recruiting information library (company/leader accolades, volunteer efforts, etc), identify and recommend content that would be pertinent to prospective employees that could be shared via our social channels, “keep warm” email messaging and collateral
  • Owns all external employment brand collateral/messaging to ensure consistency with brand via monthly audits and regularly scheduled recruitment media partner meetings (ex. Indeed, TheMuse, Glassdoor, StackOverflow)
  • Mentors, trains and supervises the work of other team members
  • Manages and strengthens agency and stakeholder relationships
     

Job Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (marketing or communications concentration preferred)
  • 5+ years of advertising agency, recruitment marketing, or integrated marketing communications and consultation experience
  • Successful creative project/campaign management and creative review leadership
  • Successful marketing & communications strategy creator and executor
  • Successful creative or media agency relationship management
  • Strong creative and business communication (written, verbal, creative and presentation) skills
  • Strong Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) skills
  • Intermediate - Advanced user of content management, candidate/customer relationship management and analytics (Google Analytics, programmatic advertising) tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to manage multiple priorities and help other team members prioritize
  • Strong consultation skills, including the ability to influence business partners in creative decisions
  • Strong relationship (clients, team and stakeholder) management skills
  • Ability to establish, manage and leverage relationships with external and internal partners
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) experience preferred, but not required
