Job Description

Resources are responsible for the strategy and implementation of the AIA and ADS organizations. They determine the best way for the business unit to achieve their objectives. This function must identify the business unit’s needs, leverage benchmark data, construct and manage operational plans to meet these goals.

 

The Analyst assists with the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices. Possess some business and operational knowledge.

 

This position is located in Lincoln, NE and the person will need to be on-site.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Business Building

  • Applies some demonstrated knowledge of how AIA businesses function. Possess some knowledge of Allstate products, discounts, markets and competition in various markets within all the states and regions.
  • Working knowledge of Allstate processes performed by other areas and how they interact,

 

Strategic Thinking

  • Builds and maintains relationships with business and technology partners needed to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Works cooperatively with project team members, field leaders and AIAs.
  • With direction, performs research, gathers information, analyzes data, draws conclusions and makes recommendations

 

Fosters Improvements

  • Clearly and effectively communicates basic ideas and information to others
  • Begins to develop cross functional awareness; understanding the different contributors from other disciplines and works with colleagues to achieve better results

     

Project Management

  • Completes project tasks as assigned
  • Communicates and presents project status
  • Actively builds strong relationships among teams and team members to ensure cooperation on project objectives

 

Program & Process Design / Improvement

  • Understands internal and external compliance requirements/standards
  • Participates in the integration and delivery of planned changes/ projects/ processes to other regional/Home Office departments

     

Program & Process Communications

  • Notifies individuals of and monitors the cutoff/due dates for the completion and submission of materials  
  • Edits and proofreads materials for accuracy in content as well as spelling, punctuation, and grammar
  • Composes standard correspondences (routine memos and letters)
  • Answers routine inquiries

Job Qualifications

  • College Degree required
  • 0 -1 Years of Experience
  • Sales and or field experience preferred
  • Agency development experience preferred
  • Basic presentation and facilitation skills
  • Basic skills in project management, team building, and problem solving
  • Good communications skills
  • Some Influencing skills
  • Solid problem Solving
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (ability to create presentations and create/manipulate spreadsheets)
  • General understanding and knowledge of learning design, instructional methods and training techniques
  • Basic knowledge of sales processes, policies, and procedures or other business/technical fields
  • Insurance experience, business ownership or management backgrounds a plus

 

Project Management:  Some experience working on project teams.
