Job Summary

As an Infrastructure Fulfillment and Lifecycle Developer, you will build and support infrastructure products related to server deployment, governance, maintenance, and decommission. You will develop code, participate in design reviews, conduct code reviews, create test plans, and resolve defects.  Developers on this team are skilled in DevOps, including systems administration-style work such as scripting deploys and setting up continuous integration. This role drives quality through test-driven development, daily interactions with the Product Owner, and regular retrospective meetings.  Ideal candidates are able to effectively work with diverse teams, multi-task, and work under pressure to meet scheduled release targets.

  • Develop code for complex modules, following development standards
  • Evaluate detailed business, functional, and high-level technical requirements
  • Propose, design & document detailed technical components
  • Create and utilize design patterns
  • Analyze and resolve complex problems
  • Execute change management activities supporting production deployment
  • Apply reusability and future state architectures
  • Lead and provide feedback in design reviews & code reviews
  • Create and automate accurate test plans, conditions, and data
  • Implement & utilize Continuous Integration and Deployment tools
  • Train peers on more advanced coding practices

Job Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in software engineering or computer science
  • 2+ years technology development experience with PowerShell, BASH, Python, and/or Java
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience developing solutions that utilize APIs
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies including test driven development
  • Experience with GitHub, Eclipse, Angular, Jenkins, Ansible, and Pivotal Tracker
  • Knowledge of infrastructure such as Linux, Windows, networking, storage, and firewalls
  • Passionate about technical topics such as computer languages, operating systems, DevOps, Agile, and Infrastructure as Code
  • Able to translate complex user stories into a good technical code and deliver it effectively
  • Entrepreneurial with a strong inclination towards action and leadership in ambiguous situations
  • Prepared to judge your success by the success of your team and the happiness of your customers
