Job Description

  • Provide varied administrative support to multiple managers and staff by applying in-depth knowledge of department policy and organization.  This position reports to the Director of AMCS which is part of the Corporate Business Transformation organization.  It is an integral part of the AMCS organization and supports the department needs.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Advanced communication skills are required to initiate oral and written response to inquiries regarding routine situations
  • Ability to prioritize work and organize own time
  • Ability to complete a professional document utilizing basic grammar, spelling, and format skills
  • Knowledge of major department/business unit functions
  • Advanced knowledge of required software applications
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement beyond workgroup
  • Handle multiple demands on an on-going basis including difficult situations
  • Assimilate, gather, and summarize detailed information for a response/decision
  • Ability to train and lead routine work processes
  • High level of contacts and exposure to sensitive information requiring the use of tact and judgment
  • Capable of independent judgment when solving problems on own
  • Work under general direction
  • Support scheduling and logistics of meetings across the enterprise on behalf of project teams and practice leadership – interfacing frequently with executive administrative assistants to coordinate meeting times.
  • Participate on the department recognition team and quarterly communication team
  • Lead/coordinate employee onboarding activities
  • Support logistical needs for corporate training offerings related to Six Sigma courses
  • Interface with and sponsor technology roll out updates across the team
  • Coordinate the hiring process for AMCS and support logistical processes
  • Maintain distribution lists and Organizational Charts

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum requirement of 3-5 years of office administration or related experience
  • Associates degree required, undergraduate degree preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Office products – primarily Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • 3-5 years prior experience supporting Sr Leadership
