Schedule/Attend/facilitate project kick-off or follow-up meetings. Work with team-members on special projects assigned by management. Ensure that the team tracking database is kept populated and up to date with any new or modified project assignments. Seek out opportunities to onboard organizations outside of Agency/Consumer/Product Technology into the governance process. Provide regular updates (weekly/monthly) to key stakeholders within your respective DCIO regarding status of currently active projects as well as be prepared to respond to inquiries

• Schedule and facilitate operation readiness meetings with application and product owners
• Have the ability to understand enterprise policy and technical standards in regards to operation ready elements
• Build strong partnerships with application teams to promote best practices for managing risks around availability in an agile manner.
• Ability to fully understand business requirements and work with stakeholders to define appropriate solutions and operation readiness objectives while meeting the business need.
• Be a champion for availability management – including broadening awareness and use of the team’s services, education of best practices, and integration with other business areas.
• Ability to work on multiple competing priorities. Have a good understanding and ability to manage time
• Participate and lead new projects as needed.
• Other APLT business office duties as assigned.
 

Job Qualifications

Job Qualifications
• Bachelors and/or Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computers Science, or related field
• 3-5+ years’ experience in either software development SDLC
• Familiar with Agile and Scrum practices
• Experience with Project Management Principles
o Facilitation Skills
o Conflict Management Skills
• Certification would be preferred but awareness of IT Service Management (ITIL, Risk Management, etc.) is a must
• Process Management  Experience
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to participate in cross functional teams, including offsite, remote and offshore resources
• Experience working in large enterprise environment with diverse teams.
• Effective written, verbal communication skills. Ability to tailor communication style to audience at hand
• Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical resources
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-directed, works with minimal guidance, and recognizes when guidance needed
