Job Family Summary
The Technology team within the regional Sales Support Department is responsible for providing consultation services and support on effective and efficient means for implementing and utilizing technology to achieve business objectives.  The team also ensures enterprise wide standards for application development, data information security protocols, hardware asset management, naming conventions, network design, software distribution, and version control are followed.  In most cases, this team also manages the operational activities associated with maintaining facility services in the Region.

Job Summary
Provides support for Allstate’s agency facing technology initiatives, new agency onboarding efforts, and Cybersecurity education and preparation.
Serve as Regional Security Coordinator managing various aspects of security including physical security, access control, and Cybersecurity administration.
Provides second level end-user support for Regional Employees, Financial Specialists and Field Sales Managers with PC hardware and software related issues. 

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
• Produces intermediate level reports, collects metrics and user feedback, and provides local technology support to internal clients
• Maintains accurate inventory of all hardware/software; reconciles discrepancies at an intermediate level and verifies accuracy of inventory records as directed
• Assists in the development, support and maintenance of local hardware, intranet programming content, and LAN; performs workstation deployments, hardware/software configuration and installation as directed by leadership
• Liaison with Home Office, data centers and support centers on regional technology issues
• Leverage ATSC support to ensure efficiencies within the region

Agency Support
• Support of Agency Technology initiatives including specialization in Cybersecurity support and education.
• New Agent on-boarding including Technology education, laptop deployment and support of new agency technology setup (PC’s access, etc.)

Project Management
• Assists with planning and execution of projects, rollouts and technology initiatives in their area of responsibility
• Provides feedback to management and clients on status, problems and solution
• Actively seeks out and finds information that is relevant to a project
• Work assignments and projects are assigned and management periodically tracks progress made towards goals.  Management remains available for consultation on a frequent basis

Regional Support
• Act as a regional change champion on new Technology implementations and initiatives.
• Assists in the coordination of regional Business Resumption Planning
• Provides regional facilities and peripheral (cell/Smart phone, wireless devices, company cars) support

Job Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience
• Intermediate technology knowledge to understand hardware and software applications and tools (Microsoft Office), basic database development a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills required
• Maintain relevant skills and knowledge to support new technology offerings (Smart Phones, iPads, MS Office, wireless services)
• Intermediate level project management skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Can solve problems of specific scope and complexity, while following established policies and procedures with some guidance from management
• Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 2-3 years of equivalent work experience; LAN/WAN, MS Office, A+ and/or other technical certifications required; familiarity with Sharepoint, Teamsite, LRN
