Job Description

Allstate is currently seeking an application developer skilled in TIBCO technology.  The position will reside in the Agency Solutions department and will be part of the Integration Production Support team. The candidate will be responsible for the well-being of the technical infrastructure and the day-to-day support of the TIBCO interfaces in order to maintain production environments. This individual must be able to design, build, maintain and upgrade delivered components leveraging the Enterprise TIBCO integration platform and to provide consulting services to clients across the Enterprise.

Job Description

Day to Day Responsibilities Include:
• Incident management - troubleshoot issues adhering to incident management guidelines
• Facilitate incident resolution
• Resolve issues and/or enhance application performance
• Respond to enterprise outages by representing TIBCO production support on Enterprise Command Center (ECC) calls as necessary
• Assure the day-to-day operation activity is running efficiently via health check monitoring of the TIBCO services
• Provide awareness and written communication to impacted teams, customers, and leadership prior to and during an outage.
• Investigate and coordinate job scheduling issues.
• Evaluate, plan, and respond to the potential impact of system changes
• Support lifecycle management activities
• Adhere to Operating Level Agreements (OLA) and Service Level Agreements (SLA). Coordinate work with Operations team regarding change activity, systems migrations, and upgrades.
• Analyze root cause of incidents and open problem tickets to resolve issues
• Identify trends and analysis for continuous improvement and stability of production systems.
• Perform minor coding of problem corrections and coordinate implementation in major and minor releases
• The position will require off hours support occasionally, including 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis.

Job Qualifications

Required Skillsets:
Candidate must have at least 2-5 years of experience working some of  the following Enterprise TIBCO integration technologies:
• Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Enterprise Service Bus
• Business Process Management (BPM)
• Web services
• Industry Standards - XML, SOAP
• Security Standards (SOX, PCI, etc…)
• SDLC Methodologies
• J2EE - Java Programming, JMS, RMI, JMX, JNDI, etc…
• TIBCO Business Works 5.x.x (including 5.2.1, 5.3.2, 5.4.2, 5.7.1, and higher versions)
• TIBCO Business Connect 5.3.x and higher
• TIBCO Business Events 3.0.1 and higher
• TIBCO Admin 5.6.x and higher
• TIBCO EMS 4.4.x and higher
• TIBCO Hawk 4.7.x and higher
• TIBCO Rendezvous 8.x and higher (RVD/RVRD)
• TIBCO Adapters:  SAP, File, ADB, MSMQ
• TIBCO MFT 1.x and higher
• TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.6.x and higher (TRA)  
Candidate must have at least 2-3 years of experience working on the below platforms and must have the ability to dive deeper into each of these technologies as it relates to the integration platform infrastructure in support of advanced installation, configuration, programming, and troubleshooting activities.
• Oracle, Oracle RAC, SQL, SQLPlus, TOAD
• DB2, DB2 Connect
• UNIX – Redhat, Solaris
• Windows 2003, 2008, Cluster
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Networking - F5, GSLB, Load Balancers
Additionally, candidate must also have at least 2-3 years of experience working with all of the following technologies:
• Transport Technologies - MQ Series, XCOM, FTP
• Security/Cryptography Technologies - SSH, SSL, PGP, etc…
• Scripting - shell scripting, ANT scripting
• Code Management - TFS
• Testing Tools - iTKO LISA, HP Load Runner, etc…
• Microsoft Office Tool Suite:  Word, Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, Infopath
• Windows Sharepoint Services
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles, practices and processes in providing and managing the delivery of a large scale, Enterprise-wide service. This includes incident management, problem management, change management, configuration management, and availability/continuity management.
