Our Workforce Insights Team
The Strategic Research group of Allstate’s Workforce Insights Team empowers the organization to make impactful, data-driven decisions that help Allstate better manage its talent through innovative analytic approaches.
As a Senior Talent Analytics & Research Consultant II on this team, you will do the following:

Job Responsibilities
•Co-own the selection, definition, and execution of Allstate’s strategic talent management research priorities.
•Co-lead the creation of predictive models that forecast talent outcomes and help leaders to proactively take action that mitigates observed talent risks.
•Lead consulting engagements with key stakeholders in HR and business areas to identify more local talent management research needs. Define measurement strategies that will provide insights to address those needs.
•Develop assessments to effectively measure talent outcomes, such as employee behaviors, skills, perceptions, job attitudes, engagement, etc.
•Work with data systems to collect, extract, clean, match/combine, and format data sets for statistical analysis.
•Analyze data using statistical methods to examine relationships between talent management predictors and outcomes.
•Create reports, dashboards, scorecards, white papers, and other materials to deliver talent management insights to clients.
•Present talent management insights, findings, and recommendations to Allstate’s senior leaders across business areas.
•Be an optimistic, hard-working, collaborative, and collegial team-player!

Job Qualifications

Job Qualifications
Education
•Master’s degree or doctorate in I/O psychology or other quantitative psychology discipline, data science, or another field with an applied analytical and/or research emphasis
Experience
•Approximately 3+ years of quantitative consulting work experience, in any of the following areas: Research/Analytics, Workforce Insights, Employee Experience, Data Science, Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Management, or other HR-related function
•Prior experience building predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and/or artificial intelligence programs is desirable, but not required. Interest in such techniques is preferred.
•Applied research experience
•Experience describing complex insights to executive audiences
•Vendor management experience is preferred
•Prior experience or the ability to work in a complex corporate environment


Skills
•Proficient in the design and implementation of quantitative and qualitative research methods to generate talent management insights
•Intermediate statistical analysis skills and experience writing syntax
•Experience preparing data for analysis
•Advanced consulting and client management skills
•Strong business acumen with an instinct for how to drive business impact
•Strong written and oral communication skills
•Intermediate to advanced reporting design skills
•Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•The ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
