Job Description

The delivery acceleration team within the newly created Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence (AI CoE) is tasked with partnering with business units and speeding their journey into AI spectrum technologies.  In this role you are expected to take ownership of one or more business units and be their central point of contact to the CoE for all things AI.  You are their advocate and trusted partner on their journey into the exciting, but sometimes temperamental, world of artificial and automated intelligence. 

You’ll help them understand and take advantage of AI spectrum technologies to ensure they quickly maximize their returned value while minimizing their organizational risk.  You will also liaise heavily with the respective AI technology owners and CoE R&D engineers to generate ideas and solutions to meet business goals.  Our current focus includes Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and chatbot technologies with growth into other areas as demand expands.





Relationship Management

  • Serve as a single point of contact for business partners and/or client technology groups on all things AI
  • Assist with partner AI strategy including input to automation roadmaps
  • Perform process and/or documentation review to facilitate prioritization and provide best practice guidance on planned AI work.  This includes readiness evaluation and technology solution recommendations
  • Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations on developing measurements to assist with CBA validation
  • Provide proactive communication to appropriate team members, including technology platform owners, regarding partner AI strategy, direction, and planning
  • Develop and/or coordinate onboarding and training activities for groups entering the AI space
  • Identify and recommend steps to remediate any emerging issues relative to partner AI technology adoption and use, including evaluating partner satisfaction
  • Identify and recommend steps to optimize AI value and present recommendations to COE leadership and partner contacts. 
  • Liaise with the research and development arm of the AI COE to identify and communicate back new opportunities to CoE and Partner leadership
  • Conduct, with assistance of the governance team, AI technology socialization activities including lunch and learns, road shows, demonstrations, website content articles, etc.
  • Provide best practice guidance to client partners, including organizational updates, concerning risk and security considerations.  This function works in conjunction with the governance arm of the COE.
  • Maintain conceptual proficiency in all supported automation technologies on an ongoing basis via self-driven and organizationally provided training opportunities

Job Qualifications


  • At least 5 years’ experience working in a professional environment interacting with or within a business area
  • Experience working within a technology organization strongly preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of, or experience using, AI technologies a strong plus.  Particularly RPA or Chatbot technologies.
  • Experience in producing or reviewing process documentation strongly preferred
  • Experience with configuring, or otherwise directly supporting, a software product strongly preferred but not required
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to intelligently prioritize day-to-day tasks to focus on those that are most critical
  • Ability to manage day-to-day dynamics of relationships without daily support from immediate manager
  • Experience designing and conducting training experiences a plus
  • High level of comfort dealing with ambiguity and change
  • Willingness to dedicate time towards continuous education in this rapidly evolving technology space
  • Willingness to travel 5% - 10% of time to trade shows, conventions and other Allstate locations
